Carl Hoiland and I recently formed a new company we named Zanskar (a remote Himalayan river valley that Carl and I rafted together in 2009), that is focused on finding greenfield geothermal systems for markets with high electricity costs and limited power options. Our preliminary GIS database has identified 30 potential projects. We are busy pushing forward our pilot project in Alaska that will test our exploration tech, and if successful, provide significant power cost savings to the nearby community and potential mine.
